CLIMATE CONTROL
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are the largest energy consumers in buildings, being the primary focus in regards of energy optimization and efficiency efforts.
The rigorous implementation of the Eco Design Directive (ErP) requires strict efficiency standards for equipment, forcing the transition to high-performance heat pumps and heat recovery units. These regulations are an essential element in obtaining Green Building Certifications (such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL).
To measure Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), a carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration of less than 1,000 ppm is often used as a guideline. Humidity levels, the presence of radon, particulate matter (PM) and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are also taken into account.
Dehumidification is essential for a wide variety of applications, from indoor swimming pools to archives and museums.
For industrial or data center applications, specially designed equipment for process cooling or close control manages precise and demanding temperature and humidity requirements operating 24/7.
Advanced applications such as cleanrooms require complex, multi-stage filtration. Regardless of cleanliness class, all cleanrooms require HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) or ULPA (Ultra Low Particulate Air) filters.

LIGHTING SOLUTIONS
Modern LED lighting systems personalize smart buildings, transforming light from a simple utility into a manageable digital resource.
By implementing connected LED solutions, lighting fixtures become active nodes in an IoT network, allowing precise control over intensity and color temperature depending on user presence or natural light. Energy savings, often exceeding 70% compared to conventional systems, are an important criterion for obtaining green building certification (such as LEED or BREEAM), increasing the value of the real estate asset.
Essential to urban aesthetics, architectural lighting transforms buildings into nighttime visual landmarks, highlighting textures and shapes through advanced LED technology. Integrated into IoT systems, it enables dynamic scenarios and precise color control, drastically reducing energy consumption.
LED industrial lighting systems for aggressive environments offer high protection (IP66+), resistance to corrosion and harsh chemicals. ATEX LED luminaires have strict certifications for explosive environments.
Hospital lighting systems combine LED technology with strict hygiene and visual comfort standards. These include antibacterial panels (IP54/65), biodynamic lighting (HCL) for patients’ circadian rhythms, and BMS-integrated solutions for efficiency.

ACCESS CONTROL
Modern access control systems transform buildings into intelligent ecosystems, where security merges with operational efficiency.
By using advanced physical barriers, such as bidirectional turnstiles and speed gates, the flow of people is precisely managed, removing the risks associated to unauthorized access.
The integration of IoT technologies and digital ticketing functions allows for instant scanning of QR codes or NFC devices, offering a fluid experience to users. However, the main stake is connectivity and interoperability: by integrating into the BMS (Building Management System), access control becomes the “brain” of the building. A simple validation at the entrance can trigger the automation of lighting, air conditioning or elevators, optimizing energy consumption.
Automatic cleanroom doors ensure maximum tightness and contamination control through “no-touch” sensors. With antibacterial finishes and BMS integration, they manage air pressure and sterile flows essential in pharmacology, microelectronics and operating rooms, following ISO 14644-1.
Thus, security is no longer an isolated element, but a dynamic component that collects data in real time, protecting assets and facilitating an adaptive and secure work environment, ready for the challenges of the digital future.
